This seems really stupid but it is annoying the hell out of me!

Is there anyway I can change the ammo type in my rocket launcher without having to fire off all my shells? I'm trying to fight the plant thing in the guards area but need to change my ammo type from acid from fighting the snake into fire. I have so far only been able to change my ammo type after firing all my shells off, but it was pretty annoying to waste a load of rocket rounds when fighting the snake! I don't want to waste acid rounds while fighting the plant.

You mean the grenade launcher right?

I think you can change ammo by selecting the ammo, then choose combine, then select the grenade launcher.

Tried that already. Its likes to tell me that I somehow cannot combine the two items. I think there is something about unloading your ammo first.
