Presuming CIA managing will be based on Big Red Menu? This project is getting cooler and cooler by the day. Can't wait for release to test it out.

Yes, i'm using my hbs srcs to easy my work:
Video module is based on lpp-3ds video sample: https://github.com/Rinnegatamante/lpp-3ds/blob/master/samples/bmpv.lua
CIA Manager will be based on Big Red Menu src
Filebrowser is based on ORGANIZ3D src.

Does this create an EmuNAND type of thing? or is it on SysNAND?

It's an homebrew. It doesn't use any type of NAND files so it works on emuNand if you start it from emuNand and it works on sysNand if you start it from sysNand.

Some news: currently i'm working on Calc module. Probably it will have some bugs cause i have no time to betatest it very well.
Anyway, Scientific calculator is just finished. Now i'm working on Developer calculator:

nice!..btw, i can betatest if you need..in fact, i'd be excited if i could test sunshell (as beta..) for you!.. but if you dont necessarly 'need' testings its okay

keep up the great work! :grog:

Alright. So, in essence, CIA installation on SysNAND???
This is the greatest thing since sliced bread... and I was fucking hyped for sliced bread...

If you can get a compilation from repository, i could give you Calc module to test it.
Anyway, basic Dev Calc finished (and this also might be VERY buggy but i have no time to test it very well):

I thought about another little module to add: a Clock module which have Cronometer, Alarm and Countdown feature.
I'll work on it very soon.

did you updated the src with all you've done since last time or last time was when you'Ve added the video module? ..whats the link on git? you can pm me if you want..

EDIT: nvm, found it :P

oh and for the chronometer you want to add to the clock, its a good idea!..but imo, i thing you should complete the 'base' first, and then add more features into already installed modules, like the clock's chronometer.
What i think would be great as a ''base'', is the sunshell with the video module, music, images, calendar, webBrowser, ability to move icons, ability to change wallpaper, and the file browser.
..i think it would make it perfect as a first release, and then, you would have less stress for adding more features and fixing bugs.. but its just my opinion :P

Little request for N3DS possessor:

Can you tell me what you receive as output with this: http://rinnegatamante.netsons.org/model_test.rar

If model is correctly detected, maybe i can use extra N3DS hardware (like 80% of syscore instead of only 30% as we have to do for Old 3DS homebrews) to improve video reproduction (for a future 3D support implementation it could be useful).

P.S. For curious people, this executable can be used also for Sunshell GitHub src cause it is a debug version of a future lpp-3ds revision.

..all i get is a ''0'' on the top left corner.

I tried for the first time Sunshell CIA build and it seems to have different nosense bugs: launchCIA seems to be stubbed (console freeze when i try to launch an imported CIA with the same code of BGRM/ORGANIZ3D) and flickering screens (on 3DSX screens are not flickering) are the most strange. Maybe it can slow my work. Now i'm working on launchCIA issue.

Added Gamecard Cartridge to Applications for CIA build (It uses same "trick" of Regionthree/Y.A.R.U.).

- Applications: A 3DSX/imported CIA launcher
could you explain this, please?

Applications let you to start other 3DSX executables if you're using ninjhax (like Homebrew Menu) or imported CIA and retail game cartridge if you're using Sunshell as an imported CIA.
