I think it's there for if you use a 4K tv, because both icons are present in that folder on the system before you do anything. I just changed mine (you have to use orbis ftp or something similar, because goldhen doesn't have write protections to this partition). then, simply log out of the user unless you want to restart, which I wouldn't do especially on 7.55, so you can retain rest mode:

I wouldn't worry about something going wrong. in all likelihood, the ps4 just wouldn't display the icon. it's doubtful it would mess anything up beyond that.
