I have a question, I recently formatted my 3DS and before I had a sysnand backup of 9.2 i am now on 7.2, can I restore from that backup?

Yes you can hold up when you select downgrade to restore your nand.

This exploit likely does not involve a kernel exploit. It's impossible to brick the 3DS with this. The worst you can do is mess up your Pokemon Save with bad eggs if you do something wrong.
