No, it isn't. There is no .bfstm file created.
Did you read this?
  • Extract the archive of the Windows version using 7-Zip or similar tools in a directory that does not contain spaces
  • If you want MP3 support (though I recommend using lossless sources instead), put libmad-0.dll into tools\sox
  • Double-click on BRSTMConversionTool.exe

Okay, I swear I've done everything, but I still have this problem.

Whenever I click *Convert BRSTM to BSCTM (3DS) using soneek's convertor*, I open my BRSTM file, then click "open", then it tells me "done!" But there is no BSCTM created. (and yes, I don't have spaces in my path or in the file name) I've tried changing the path and still the same thing happens.

Then I try the other option "Convert BRSTM to BSCTM (3DS) using froggestspirit's convertor" I open my BRSTM file, then click "open", then it tells me "done!" Then the BSCTM file is created, BUT the bytes didn't limit to 3.3mb or anything around that. The bytes just stayed the same. Please, if anyone could help me I'd be grateful :yay:, I've been trying to put music in my themes forever, but my file is always too big.

Uh, not sure about that...
Which path are you talking about? There must be no spaces in both the program's and file's path, for example:
C:\Users\MrFace64\Desktop\BRSTM\brstmconversiontool.exe
and
C:\Users\MrFace64\Desktop\audio.brstm

Yep, that's normal. That converter just changes some bytes in the BRSTM file and saves the output as BCSTM. In order to have a smaller file, you need to convert it to BRSTM with this converter, with the limit option enabled, and THEN convert it to BCSTM.

Can anyone help me loop this? I just can't.

I had manages to convert the mp3 to brstm and then to bcstm, but couldn't get the looping to work. All i get is a onetime play in my theme
*ahem* pls don't judge the music, its for a certain pokemon champion theme ;)

When exporting a file it somehow creates a 0 byte (empty) file =/

edit: nvm.. I didn't expect this program to not work for other games than Smash Bros..

Disregard my edit (it was mentioned in some other thread).

The input file was a .wav file that was created by Uwizard.

Try with a wav or FLAC file, it might work ;)

Well, i found a workaround. I used Looping Audio converter 1.1 to create a .brstm file and then used your program to export it to .bfstm ;-)

Thanks for this very useful program. Hopefully you'll continue to improve it :-)

That doesn't solve anything though :/
I wish I had more time to fix everything...

Half the features don't work. Volume doesn't do anything, soneek's converter doesn't do anything.
