Just message a moderator or report one of your posts explaining what happened. I'm sure they'll understand.

Anyways, this was just posted on an IRC channel:

These are the textures for Resetti's Surveillance Center in ACNL. Take note of the noose in the top-left. That's just a tad morbid.

could be just any random knot

Brian10122 No. Not at all. A 3ds is required for the decryption. But you have access to the games for reverse engineering purposes tho.

How the AES decryptor step on 3DS can produce a file as big as RomFS?
it's not a repetitive pattern anymore, so it's dependent on the size? it generates different XORpad based on the key+position in the file?

I've noticed a bit of an oddity; tried to use the v2 launcher.dat with several different class10 32GB SDs (PNY and generic) on two different 3DS (OG and XL) and got a blank white screen every time.
with an 8GB class4 it works fine. going to try a few more SDs to see how it behaves.

Cyan it can produce a file as big by more or less: setting the IV/CTR, decrypting the file in a 0x10 00red array, writing it to the SD, add to the ctr for next block

I'm using luigis mansion dark moon and the Encryption file its making is way bigger then the rom itself, is this normal? Example the rom is 1 GB but the Encryption file its making is at 3GB so far.

Didn't manage to get this working yet. The original Launcher.dat first posted in this thread shows text including the total file size it's aiming for, but never starts counting up. All the newer ones I tried gave a white screen. Tried a few different sd cards (2gb toshiba sd that came with the 3ds, samsung 32gb u1 microsdhc, generic 8gb ~class 2 microsd). Standard 3ds, not xl.

I seem to be having the same problem. I either get a white screen or I get text but it never starts counting up. I tried different SD cards and on my Standard 3DS and my XL. On the rare occasion that it does work, it never generates the full XORpad for Pokemon X, stopping at about 500mb

Sorry but where can I find all the tools needed to actually open the files? Gotta look around on 3DSbrew I guess?

ctrtool, page 20.
Oh that takes care of everything? Nice, thank you!

Stuck on this screen when trying to decrypt Pokemon Y. Am I doing something wrong or does it just take some time? I've been stuck there for ~10 minutes now

I haven't had luck with the v2 either. I can't get it to work with any of my SD cards. Usually a white screen, but sometimes just static text and no progress made.

If you want something that helps, xerpi has one that only runs on one of my SD cards at the moment (unless I'm getting launchers confused and that was another one) but seems to have incorrect display so I can't really tell what it's doing (also, it runs on my 512 MB SD, so only good for small games).
For now, bobmcjr's padgens with seeking seem to be the best way to do it for me if it helps you.

How do I know which size I need when it comes to bobmcjr's launchers? Is it based on the size of the rom itself?

Those launchers start at an offset.
They're based off the first padgen posted which was more reliable but it freezes after about an hour.
What you do is generate from the start until it stops, then you can use the launcher for where you made it up to and later merge the results.
If this is a little bit too complicated, I'm sure another padgen will be released soon enough.

Could it be anything to do with the formatting of the card? Cluster size, tool used to format?
Could be possible, but I think everything was formatted with the plain old windows formatter.
Also, just redownloaded from xerpi. Just rainbow pixels on top screen, but got through a 2GB rom pretty quick on my 8GB SanDisk. Must have updated it at some point because that is not what I got earlier.
If the file's fine, this is awesome!

Edit: xorpad looks bad to me :(

v2 is working fine on me o.o , but sometimes is just white screen. If re-apply ds profile exploit, it will work again ... is seems broken on somewhere o.o . both my 32 GB UHS-1 Class 10 Premium microSD card (transcend, it say 300x, last month i buy this card) and old crappy microSD with class 4 (local product, 3 years old) is working fine o.o

Are there any ctrtool builds (or other programs) that can extract specific files out of a decrypted romfs? I can list them without extracting, but I guess specific dumping would be a neat feature.
