--Solved---
First of:
- I'm on 3.60 enso
- vita 2000
- don't have a Sony memory card
- tried to install sd2vita
My issue:
- installed sd2vita and bubbles for enso, molecular shell and vitashell were gone
- if I rebooted holding L they were still there
- I forced a reinstall of molecular shell
- used ftp to transfer vitashell ver. 1.9 to ux0
- started to reinstall vitashell
- error message: ux0 was displayed empty, vita showed firmware 3.65
- restarted holding L: bubbles back and vitashell seemed to display all files, vita showed firmware 3.60
- restarted again holding L: enso sign appeared an vita told me I need to update firmware to format sd card.
now:
- depending on how I reboot the device I either get a message to update and all homebrew bubbles are gone or I boot into safe mode henkaku with pretty much all data visible in vitashell, but sd2vita disabled, ux0:tai empty and ur0:tai full of folders
Now I feel I should format my vita in the settings and reinstall vitashell etc.
- Can I do that or do I need to take any measures beforehand (e.g. force reinstall molecular shell and delete something) ?
- I assume enso will not be deleted with a factory reset so I would just need to force a reinstall on molecular shell and get vitashell back right?
- What would I need to do to prevent the bubbles from disappearing after enabling sd2vita or at least to get vitashell back without causing this mess again?
If anyone has advice for this I'd be very grateful
Edit: solved
apparently nothing was corrupted and although I don´t know why the vitashell installation failed, it didn´t cause any major problem to the system or data.
I eventually managed to boot into safe mode henkaku with the sd2vita disabled, dismounted it in the henkaku settings, reformated it and transferred all data from the internal memory of my vita 2000 (ux0) before enabling the driver plugin.
Now I don´t get messages to update or any other errors anymore.
