Hacking Reigion Confusion

Ok, so I recently figured out how to load gecko os *correctly* and it as worked for most of my games so far. However, I am trying to load backups through Gecko OS with the cheats. Here's the thing, all the iso's for my backups had regionfii used on them, so technically, they're NTSC, rather than PAL or JAP, depending on where I got the iso. But since they're still a European or Japanese game, should I use the codes from that region?

Try both. I'm going to say taht whatever region they originally were is what cheats should work. Regionfrii only changes the region code, not the actual game code.
