hello,
We have the possibily on these linker to do RTS (real time save),but the problem is that i don t know how to proceed!
I searched on the web but i don't find the answer (neither on the official gateway site)
if a good soul could help me?
Thanks for all
Thierry

If you're thinking of state-saves, it doesn't do that. The thing they refer to as "Real Time Saving" is actually just saving to the SD-card whenever you save inside a game. On previous versions of the firmware you had to exit the game to trigger it while now it should trigger it automatically.

At least, that's how I understand it, I could be wrong :)

You're not wrong. That is what gateway means by real time saves.

Yes that's exactly what i mean save states.Like the possibility we have on supercard two to save DS games at any moment.(or on emulators)
It s very useful when you play on the go like in the subway:0)
I hope it will work one day with this linker

press X before launching game, then enable rts>save done! :)
On game press LT+RT+a+b a menu will appear.
ups sorry, this is 4 r4i :)

Is "state-save" even possible feature for a flash cart? I thought it would only work on PC emulators.

Sure, especially since we have full system access.
Also, the 3DS practically supports it ouf of the box, just that you can only have one savestate at the same time (just press home from within a game ;) )
You'd "only" need some gui to manage them.

It should most definitely be possible. Some(maybe all?) Of the virtual console games use save states to save exactly where you are. At least the nes ones that arent in 3d that ive played. It might not work with the roms for now but maybe looking into gateway might be able to figure out how(or mt). Hopefully they do. It would be nice
