Hacking Ready to start system update!

Fuck your update. I get this nag once a day on both sys and emu, and I always crap myself because it pops out immediately and I almost accidentally hit A every time. I read around about some recovery method with L+R+A+UP or deleting a folder in exdata, but they're all very old posts. Which method is the best? I'm on a New3DS 9.0 GW 9.5. Thank you.

The recovery mode (also known as Safe Mode Boot) can be accessed when turning on the Nintendo 3DS while holding A+R+L+Up(DPad). This menu is made to update your Nintendo 3DS through internet, if an update previously failed.

However it is possible to use this menu to delete the nagging update message if your console downloaded an update while in sleep mode. It is believed that this menu simply erases all update data, as it should normally be accessed when the update files are corrupted.

Keep in mind it only works to delete the update nag from sysNAND, not emuNAND.

You just turn your console off again and the update will be deleted.

If you have and emuNAND backup from before you downloaded the update to your emuNAND, this works.
