For me it always fails doing the backup that worked fine before :(
I get a following error. Card is the same as it always was. And it fails during backup not verification.

BTW: After this fail I cannot do any other backups like fuses. It always fails to write to the card.

With the verification fixed at last, I hope that this is not what I think it is.
Do a test with h2testw.

(This erases your sd card, so if you have needed files, you have to backup them from the SD card first.)
And what you think it is?

I'm having the exact same problem!
Evo plus cards (I have the same), don't take so much time. Try to check it with h2testw.

Try the same first: h2testw.

If all of you pass the h2testw, reformat your card through windows to exFAT w/ 128KB cluster.

If this fails, there's always the partial backup (enabled with partial.idx file in exFAT).

@CTCaer I did a full nand raw backup with an early version of your tool about 3-4 weeks ago on a completely virgin machine (never connected to net) Firm 4.01. I have since played with layered FS and regret it, so I want to go back to a virgin machine. Is it safe to restore this older raw nand using your new 3.1? I have not updated firmware, still on 4.01.

Do I also need to restore boot0/1 to go back to virgin? or is rawnand enough?

Make a new backup (rawnand + boot0/1) just in case, before trying.

And yes better restore BOOT0/BOOT1 also. They are part of the full backup.

Thanks for the advice, and many thanks for all of your work for the scene. Really appreciate!

Try to hard reset it. Hold the power button down for 15 seconds. Or it be that backup was on use on 4.1 and was trying to restore it on 5.1 meaning trying to downgrade it won't allow it to boot

@CTCaer there is something I can do?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I dont know if it is relevant but I first restore rawnand and boot0/1 after.

took me 91 min with the 3.1 Hekate on a 3.0 switch with a 64GB transcend SD Card (XC1 C10 U1)
everythings seems to work as intented. great work!

Did you restore your actual fw or downgraded?
Restore rawnand and boot0/1?
After completed just turn off?

Hi,
