So, it didn't work. I updated my 3ds (which still had cfw, thank god) and my Pokemon X game. I followed the randomization instructions, which required me to delete the update data, which I did. When I went to battle the first trainer before the forest, my game crashed. I went to update my randomized digital copy of the game, and the game loaded, unrandomized. So, @KunoichiZ you literally have done nothing for me so far except waste my time. If you have any real knowledge and would like to ACTUALLY HELP, that would be appreciated. Until then, thanks for nothing.
It wasn't my suggestion in the first place to update your game or your system. I only told you it was safe to update. I do have actual knowledge of the situation as I've actually dealt with things like this before and I'm trying to help you but you being a dick is making this difficult. How are you trying to run your randomized files, through Luma's layeredfs or NTR? Are you using clean files each time you re-randomize?

Last edited by KunoichiZ,
I dump the files into a cia through gm9. I then use 4GG's (4thGenGamer) video to randomize the game. I recompress (or whatever the term is) the randomized game into a cia, then I use FBI to install and delete the cia. I run the digital copy of pokemon x, and it boots up normally and runs fine, until that first trainer battle. Everytime I've re-randomized I've used a fresh copy of the cia directly from my sd card and a fresh new folder from the zip they offer, so everything is clean. It still crashes and I have no idea why, as I seem to be the only one on the internet who has experienced this issue, despite following the instructions exactly.
