Did a thread for this game a while back when it was released but I guess thats in the archive now, anyway some new info has been release at IGN:
"Codemasters has released new information about its upcoming Race Driver: Create & Race for Nintendo DS, revealing more on the game's in-depth track editing tool, which enables you to create detailed race tracks from scratch.
For beginners, there's a free draw tool where you can roughly lay out your desired track and set pieces, including pit stops, bridges or dips, are added automatically to the course.
As you become more experienced with the tools, you can choose specific set pieces and build the track around them. It's also possible to take a 3D fly-through of your circuit, checking for potentially tight turns or speedy straights, before facing off against AI opponents on your creation. Alternatively, by using the DS's Wi-Fi connection or in single-pak multiplayer, you can challenge up to three friends on any of the courses you've made.
Producer Jamie Firth notes: "Once you've conquered the 32 in-game tracks, which include Silverstone, Bathhurst, Nurburgring, then Create & Race players can really challenge themselves and their friends with a never-ending number of track combinations. There's nothing sweeter than inviting up to three friends to race on your very own track… and owning them on it!""
Was looking forward to this and now I want it even more now its got WFC on it! Some new screens here.
Theres been some "hands on" previews in the last few months and all are very positive saying its got a great framerate and plays very well. Game is due in the Summer in Europe, no US date has been announced.
