Hacking R4I GOLD

hello everyone
i am new on the r4i Gold flashcard (just today i traded my iedge with a friend for his r4i gold)
so here is the deal the site that this card is sending me to is r4igold.cc
so i want to ask a few things:

1)is this an r4 clone as all the others?
2)is this card worth a bit in the flashcard world? i mean do their teams update often or...
3)does this card use any kernel? and if yes where should i get it (the site has a 1.4.1 something for the dsi, is this the latest kernel available?)
4)and what firmware is needed so this card can be played without problem on the 3ds

so these are the questions i wanted to ask
kindly waitting for your answers

p.s. if this isnt a good flashcard plz tell me i can trade back my previous card or buy a new one maybe

It's a generic R4 clone. The flashcart is in my opinion worth €3,-.
The software you should use is "V1.8 [ENG]", on the Download page.
The video they show about working on the 3DS is from a different R4i Gold (so it's a scam).

I have never tried the EDGE so I can't say if it is a bad trade.

so this one doesnt work on 3ds i guess
umh will see when i buy the 3ds in 1-2 days

small edit: this card shows up as Alex Rider STORMBREAKER game dont know if it means something.

The Acekard 2i shows up as Alex Rider too, so, could you make a screenshot of the menu? I only based my reply on the file structure, which is the structure of the R4DS.

hm wood 1.27 isnt supported as i tested
so this means that the card is just a r4i gold clone right?

so about the video you mentioned before the card is the exact same as that video
the sticker/the menu are the exact same as shown on this video they have on their page...

The only two R4's that officially support Wood are. www.r4ids.cn and www.r4idsn.com both are made by the same team and theres barely any difference between the two.

Both are good and the are the same.
The only difference is that wood r4 of r4idsn is released a day earlier than that of r4ids gold(r4ids.cn).

Are you the team that also makes the R4i Gold(r4ids.cn). Is there any difference between the R4idsn and the R4ids Gold as they both run the WoodR4 firmware. From what I can see the only difference is the packaging.

i already read that every r4i or every sh*t is a clone of r4
on the other hand the r4igold from the r4igold.cc site works fine on the 3ds and with the update too
(i tested that on my 3ds)
