Hacking R4 to M3 simply conversion tool

Anyway, can you use this tool to convert a chinese R4 to an english M3 simply or something? not sure exactly what all it does. Discuss.

if so.. you have to put the _DS_MENU.DAT from the kernel of your choice in the same directory of the patch.exe, then you run the patch.exe and you answer to the question.. in your example (if I don't misunderstand) you should have something like :

Please type the file name
_DS_MENU.DAT

R4DS Simplified Chinese V. 1.10 CRC(8866c896)

This file is meant for use on R4 hardware, do you
want to patch it for use on M3 hardware? (Y/N)
Y

This file is meant for use on Simplified Chinese hardware, do you
want to patch it for use on English or Japanese hardware? (1/2/N)
