Hardware R2 acting as if stuck.

So I am going to stress this just once. I have disassembled the controller, there is nothing touching the R2 button, not a trigger, not the rubber dome. The controller is receiving constant pressure to the R2 but the trigger is not stuck. Can this be fixed or is the PCB boned?

if it is a PS4 launch/early dualshock 4 the PCB is likely done.
there have been at least 2 revisions of the controller, not a quality product from sony
