Today i was able to catch good news... the 1.7 version of Vitashell got released and there are major bugfixes and ONE option that bags my mind..

its this point:
  • Added ability to mount sd2vita and psvsd as USB device.
so what does it actually give us? what can we do with this option?
i am a bit confused about this ^^
would be great if someone could help me ;3!

If I understand it completely, in previous versions of Vitashell when users would try to use the USB function to transfer files between their computer and their Vita systems it would not recognize the microSD (in the SD2Vita) card being mounted at ux0. It would still only recognize the Vita's internal memory or 1st party memory card. So this allows the user to now transfer files directly to their SD2Vita microSD card (over USB) without needing to use FTP (which is quite slow when transferring games) or taking out the microSD card which is a pain. It was a small bug that has been fixed with recent release of Vitashell 1.71
