Hello, I just have one quick question.
How do you, assuming it's possible, view jpg/jpeg images on your 3DS?

I put a bunch in the directory: SD:\DCIM\100NIN03\ but I couldn't view them.
Do you have to do anything to them first or what?

make a picture on the SD...
go to the place where the pictures are on the SD
put the picture you want to view in that same folder
go to the viewer in the 3DS... that should do it..

they have to be .jpeg and they have to be named "HNI_XXXX" with XXXX being a 4 digit number from 0000 to 9999.

But I did that for some of my pics, and they're still not showing up on the 3DS.. so if someone could help out a bit more, it'd be great.

Are you sure they have to have that name?
Seems rather annoying having to rename all of the pictures x)

Tried it now and it works, thank you very much

try to consider if resolution helps in any way. IIRC, pictures taken by the camera aren't exactly flush-fit with the top screen resolution, as viewing it on a computer shows stuff at the top and bottom edges that aren't visible when viewed on the 3DS, but i'm assuming the picture viewer has limited to no scaling capabilities.

and the file name nomenclature isn't strictly HNI_XXXX, but rather AAAA####, where A is any alphabet plus underscore, and # is any digit, and the first character can't be anything else but an alphabet. feel free to correct me on that though.
