Hey everyone;
I got in a PS3 with a broken laser (uses KES/KEM-400AAA). For those who don't know what the blu-ray drive looks like, It's pretty much a logic board and all of the blu-ray laser assembly attached.
The logic board is married/paired to the motherboard and the PS3 CECHA01 in question is on a firmware where it is not possible to remarry to a new board.
So can I just switch the logic boards with these two drives and plug and play? Has anyone had any experience with this and potential problems; otherwise I would just switch the laser assemblies (KEM-400AAA).
Anyone else have problems with psx-scene.com not loading?
Thanks in advance,
Brandon
