Hello everybody!

As you can see, I'm new to this forum, I'm new to the Switch in general tbh.

I got the Switch as a present last week and just then started to get interested in the Switch hacking scene, homebrews etc.
To my pitty, I realised late enough that Nintendo has patched the hardware exploit that was found "just" a few months earlier, and to my pitty, I had been gifted such a patched console (XAJ700437...).

Now to my Question, or TL;DR:

How high is the chance to still get an unpatched Switch as of now?
I'm living in Austria (Vienna) if that's any help. I don't mind buying it online if it highers my chances.
I'd prefer a new console (if that's possible at all).

I tried to find a similar thread or results on google, couldn't find any information that could've help me.

Kindest Regards, Johnny

Darn it! Forgot to mention that I indeed did a test and I unfortunately got the "0X0000" Code.
Thanks for your advice though! :)

Go shopping, in supermarkets, or small stores that don't have a lot of sales, look at the serial number cardboard, and buy the winning ticket, I had a friend buy a switch last week, it took us less than an hour to find a stock of 10 switches not corrected, ( in France) SuperU store.

It was that simple.
Went to the closest MediaMarkt (Lugner City Vienna) and they still have a lot of unlatched Switches!
