Hacking [Question] Using Luma3DS' Language Feature and Going Online

I wanted to play the Japanese version of Animal Crossing on my 3DS. I was wondering if it was safe to tick "Enable region/language emu and ext code" in the Luma3DS config menu without getting hyper-banned.

I felted compelled to ask because I remember reading about how you can get hyper-banned if you left your Wifi on/went online while having UNITINFO enabled.

I've played online japanese games using the enable region/lang... etc enabled, i havent got banned... But i really don't know if that'd be the case with every game :S
