i flashed my dsl my self the other day i notice i couldn't use sleep mode. I heard i have to use a actual real ds game to enable sleep mode . am i correct? or i can just plug my passcard 3 instead.

another important question would be, if i plug a actual ds game inside to enable sleep mode, would it eat off some battery like using superkey or passcard 3?

thanks

yes you can plug either passcards or a real ds game, and yes you will use more battery. how much more is kind of up in the air @ the moment in the community....for me personally it uses significantly more battery (can extend gameplay for 1-2 more hours) so I do not use sleepmode personally (aka put in a real game or passcard).

Now here's a further question...my DSL has been flashme'd and sleep works fine with a commercial cart in, given. But I've noticed it won't sleep in GBA mode...is this standard even before flashing? I only ask because the only GBA games I have are roms, so I was never able to test it before flashing.

The DS just doesn't sleep in GBA mode, even with original GBA games, so you're not missing out there.
