Hacking Question on modding/hacking wii to play games

Hi I just borrowed a wii from my friend and it can play pirated games using cd. Is there a latest hack that will allow my wii to play on hdd? Can anyone point me to the tutorial for this and some details?

Well mod mii can download some loaders for you but I suggest USBloader gx if you really wanna just play from hdd.

My friends wii is already havked. It can play pirated games from disc. Is it safe to install modmii right away? Do I need to do other things first? Sorry got confused on the instructions on the link

Yeah modmii is safe to install that's why it's recommended but it's not safe if you don't know what the heck you are doing.
Also playing games from burnt disc are okay but I suggest using usbloading because you can mess up your disc drive.
