question about tools used for modding nsp/xci

can anyone give me the popular tools needed to mod nsp or xci? do we have something like a tool to extract the files inside the nsp/xci? i was thinking to extract it then replace the model files then repack t again.

google is your friend, there are a lot of step, there is no a "holy grial" guide to do that, you need to read a lot of documentation.

You don't need to repack games since we have Layeredfs. Beside repacking games makes any game update not possible to use.
For unpacking romfs from installed games you can use DBI.

is there a way to inspect the tree structure of the game without unpacking? i have limited space in my sd card
