Hacking Question about the R4i-SDHC 3DS

I've been looking around and it's pretty ambiguous if the Flashcart will still work after updating the 3DS to the latest firmware, there was a site of a guy claiming that it worked and well, pretty much no information about it at all!

What you need to do is to put the newest firmware onto your card, go into settings and then tap on upgrade.
This will flash your card to support it.

Yeah it's already at 1.45b according to the site, which is the latest firmware upgrade of the card.
