Others have said traditional ways, however I am going to take the think like a hacker approach and go for efficiency. You have to do it well as many members and staff have highly advanced bullshit detectors and will see post count padding for what it is but the way I will suggest is far less subject to scrutiny there.
That said the simplest way right now on the current forums* is many people suffer from question fatigue, particularly if you are like me and don't have things to copy and paste all the time. To that end find the questions that people ask over and over, despite the answers being there and possibly even in stickies, and answer them. Right now that means 3ds hacking if you want true rapid speed but other more interesting devices still feature (I would be in the 3ds section but the thing still has no games if I don't count DS backwards compatibility and homebrew is hardly there either). That said that might be a good thing if you don't care about anything -- it then means you are above fanboyism**, moralising (ooh I don't believe in cheats so I will skip the cheat focused stuff and such like) and become largely objective without necessarily being able to do that in real life for other things. Most of this stuff is not hard to learn either -- there are what 10 CFWs on the 3ds at best, flash carts are basically dead right now unless you just want an easy in with the sky3ds family, updates of any merit happen maybe twice a month, entrypoints are largely dictated by firmware and reduced to something that is probably too simple for a flow chart, hardware mods exist but are not necessarily of the greatest merit, anybody that absolutely must use a sysnand for actual use has already made their bed so let them lie in it while all the cool kids get stuff done (it is just a game save, start over if the steps to transfer are a pain) and cheats are easy enough to launch. You can keep all that in your head, even if you don't care for the system. If you want to stretch it out over a couple of posts then that is possible but not terribly advised -- for instance if someone posts and neglects to include type of 3ds and firmware then you could ask and leave it there or you could ask and give the rough options (normal 3ds/2ds and firmware below ?, n3ds and firmware below ?, n3ds and firmware over ? and 3ds/2ds and firmware over ? sort of thing), this might seem counter intuitive if you are just increasing post count but if they don't have to reply more to get the basics done then you could get it done quicker for them and then the real meat is in teaching them about the cool extra functions.
To run the basic maths if it takes 30 minutes to read some things on the internet, read some more specific stuff here, sign up for the site, write a post and then start waiting for a reply, 15 minutes later you reply saying "What's yer firmware and 3ds model?", it takes another 15 minutes, another 15 minutes to reply, 30 minutes to do the hack (or not if your instructions were too vague) and now hours have gone by and the person is just happy that they have a basic game running. You get it up and running in 30 minutes off the basis of the first reply and then you launch into "now you have that it is even easier to do cheats, mods, save game hacks and such" and you have an easy 10 post conversation. If you are good you can also answer a question but mention something even cooler in passing.
*I have been on forums where when I was on a more regimented schedule then the 15 minutes to trundle over to a PC and get logged in would have seen most questions answered. They were small and very specific places though, and this is not that.
**don't feel too bad about the fanboys as you can still come in and be the better poster and describe things as they are, not needing to contemplate tribalism in hacked firmwares and hack methods for failing consoles.
Combine that with a bit of basic news reply posting and you will get ahead very quickly. If the news on the site does not interest you then the site is probably not for you, minor exception if your interest really is custom firmware, flash cart and emulator development. Anyway example

You have probably played a Sonic game before. The premise is a new Sonic game is under way and being as it is 25 years since the thing crept out into the world they are looking to respect that, 25 is a pretty arbitrary number but then they all are (I choose not to beholden to the whims of this spinning and tilting rock, despite what biology says) and in this case people think 25 is good so feign interest there.
You might also be aware sonic has many periods and styles of gameplay and that ultimately nobody is really happy where it is at right now.
You say my most enjoyed Sonic games were ?? and ** and $$, I hope they make something that returns to something like that as some of the others did not do it for me.
Job jobbed, if you said Sonic Adventure as part of that I would come along and laugh at you (seriously the adventure games were blasted at the time, not necessarily for overly poor gameplay as it was broadly functional and ultimately mediocre but for not really being what Sonic is/was prior to then, I truly do not know where this current fandom for it came from) but that just makes for validation. You then get to call me a stupid old cunt and to stop playing minesweeper and tetris and instead learn how games work now and bam you have your second post.
Alternatively you say you liked Sonic 16 bit era and I come along and say I did too, even got some fair enjoyment from Sonic 3d. Did you see the following video?
You reply, preferably making sure you wait the length of the main content (or main content / increased play speed if you have that option) if you say you had not and everybody is happy, at least those that are not offended by having their chosen games in a franchise called poor choices and it thusly reflecting upon them and also them being fans of failed consoles from companies fast fading in relevance.
