Hacking Question about magnethax

I want to try magnethax with ntrboot on my N2DSXL to install B9S but I need more info about the magnet.
What kind of magnet do I need?

What is the good position? How to correctly place the magnet on the 3DS?

The magnet can be any as long as it is able to trigger sleep mode on your 3DS.
If you don't have any magnets I suggest you what I did: buy a magnetic curtain holder from some local chinese store, if you have any near you (I paid 1€ for that).
The position is over ABXY buttons or just a little below. When you have a magnet, just turn on your 3DS and put it on ABXY buttons: when the 3DS goes on sleep mode, that's the spot

a fridge magnet would do. Im not sure on 2DS XL, but if it works the way as a N3DSXL does, then its just below the "B" button

No it's just between "X" and "A" button.

On my New 3ds xl. I found the sweet spot to ne on and a little to right of the B button
You can even feel the slight magnetic tug

I didn't have a magnet so i laid the speaker part of a DS Lite i had lying around, face down on the buttons!
