Hacking Question about Flashcards

Which one do you think is the best 3ds flashcard( that emulate 3ds roms no prob ) and safest (so it does not have probabilities to brick the 3ds )

Opinions pls ,

This is about as straightforward as you can get. The Sky3DS takes no effort to setup and even a 10 year old could do it. Setting up the gateway takes a bit of research but it's not so hard either. But the latter is useless if you are above 9.2.

Look at any of the 10000 Sky vs GW topics and read....however based on your post if all you want is plug in and play then sky is the way to go.

Then Sky is your ONLY option as GW doesn't support 9.5 yet and you couldd be waiting awhile before it does.

i really cant find a post that comparest both cards truly becouse they compare the gateway to the old sky3ds , as the new one with the blue button has the game limit removed and as i see it sky is better if you dont care about emulators and homebrew on the 3ds, also suports online play as i am reading,

You are correct. While GW does have a lot more features if you don't care about that and just want to play your games then you are golden. HOWEVER in this topic - https://gbatemp.net/threads/error-code-002-0102-have-i-been-banned.380654/page-30#post-5326188

The only things that "Scares" me and i dont quite understand is that they are saying that sky 3ds may be baned while gateway is futureproof

They say this as they don't think the Sky team could update the card IF Nintendo bans it. GW is "futureproof" as every tiem Nintendo has blocked it the GW Team has found away around it via new exploit or update to emunand.

so in a way the gw team can futeproof with new emunands and sky team has to make new hardware if banned? or does sky team also have software solutions for updates?

More then likely yes GW can just update their card when Nintendo blocks them. However depending on the block this CAN take some time. As of now the GW card works on 4.5 to 9.2

As for Sky...there has YET to be a software update for the Sky3ds, there was however more of a software hack that removed the 10 game limit however that was NOT created by the Sky Team. Sky has ONLY realed a hardware update in order to remove this limit...take that as you will.

eitherway since i am on 9.5 in my 3ds xl my only option is sky , as long as i dont update i should be good.i could go for gw but i dont know how long they will take to make an update for the 9.5

Your other option is to buy an lower firmware version and sell your current one
