Hacking Question about Charging the DSL

I've bought my bf a DSL. Only problem is, the DSL is American, and he lives in the UK. Is it safe to use the charger that came with the DS or should he purchase one from the UK?

Also, is there a chance of damaging the DS?

voltage is different in the uk 230volts compared to your 110volts it would prolly blow a US adapter!! ...

... the DSL will be fine they are multi regional anyhow... just tell him to PURCHASE a UK 3 pin adapter for the DSL to be safe they are pretty cheap anyhow about £5-£7 in a uk store eg GAME,GAMESTATION,CEX etc he will know where to go
