Well I read in some thread on this forum that you could test the quality of a DVD burn using DVDinfopro (program). I've got a backup that comes up with a quality rating of 0.0%, which, according to the before mentioned thread, could easily ruin the wii's laser. Can I just rip the ISO using IMGBurn and reburn it properly using Verbatim -R's? Well I know I can but what I'm really asking is if it will still have the same negative effect on my wii's laser.

Yeah, that program wouldn't work for ISOs.
Also no on the ruining the laser part.
It would only slow down loading times and put the motor that spins the disc under more stress, and they don't break often.
