Hi everyone, I'm qdmware.

30 yo, been playing the PSP for 20 years and recently developped a Sokoban game for it. I'm curious, always interested in discovering hidden gems and homebrews. Other console I have is a N3DS but my heart still goes to the PSP for hundred of hours spent with friends on MGS: PW and Monster Hunter Freedom Unite mainly.
I'm still learning a lot about PSP development. The graphics hardware, audio timing, savedata system, and XMB files have all given me something new to fight with. PPSSPP has been really useful, but real hardware has a way of finding bugs that the emulator lets slide. Currently using rust-psp the modern for but just saw very interesting news in PSP Homebrew Developer Conference 2026 so that might change.

I joined GBAtemp to learn from people who have been working with this hardware for much longer than I have, and to share what I figure out along the way. I'm especially interested in PSP homebrew development, graphics, audio, and anything involving old hardware doing new things.

Looking forward to being part of the community.
