Homebrew Python On 3DS?

I Want to learn a programming language. I have a Python book and would like to know if it is possible to code an app in Python for the 3DS.

no. but i think lua is supposed to be quite a friendly language, and you can use that on the 3ds thanks to @Rinnegatamante

There is no python for 3ds, and probably never will be. It would destroy performance anyways.

Python is not as minimal/portable as Lua, which makes it a lot harder to get running on 3DS.
It really isn't worth it.
