Homebrew psx isos from hdd

I have wiisx set up to load isos from my hdd. Is it faster to load them from sd instead? Also anyone noticed a difference between pal ntsc games?

if you use the usb2 mod you should get the best loading speeds available, for ntsc and pal, i cant really say, in the past there have been compatibility issues depending on the region

doesnt for me it's slower than running from an sd.
