Hacking PSP3001: upgrading to a permanent exploit

So I'm running a PSP3001, and it requires a program to run to activate Pro CFW. I was wondering if there's any way to update to a permanent exploit for my PSP without messing too much up (Make sure I don't lose my saves or compatibility with a memory card to MicroSD converter)

i use infinity with no problems. have done since it was released. i recommend it

also you wont loose anything

You will loose savestates on psp go, i don t know about psp 3k, but v1 is the unstable public release, v2 was never released.

i have a psp 3004 brite with permanent 6.20 cfw and i upgraded to 6.61 infinity work fine for me no problems at all just need to flow a good installation guide and it's gonna be alright make sure to check the compatibility and good luck

Make sure I don't lose my saves

As already said, Infinity (6.39/6.61 hybrid) or the older 6.20 CFWs are the options; saves won't be touched - though of course you're diligently making backups anyway, riiight?

I just went on with infinity and it works just fine. While still awesome, now I can have custom startups without the default startup breaking its flow. Turns out, when using Infinity, it automagically deletes the partial cfw and replaces it with the permanent exploit later on.
