Gaming PSP Slim Battery Tool Wont Charge :( :( :(

I just bought it today. I read the instructions and it won't charge.

take the back off your PSP battery compartment and remove your normal battery!

connect your PSP to your mains adapter and turn the PSP on

Now put your BATTERY TOOL in while the PSP is ON it will now CHARGE

just put the PSP on a flat surface so the battery tool does not fall out while it charges!

I've done that already. Heck, it won't even recognize it.

You do have a slim PSP and not a fat one?

alright man, ive literally just installed custom firmware on a phat and a slim psp succesfully. try this - plug your psp into the mains, and make sure the battery is charging. switch the psp on, and the remove your normal battery and put in your tool battery. and just leave it. leave it on and the tool battery will charge. you can go into system settings>battery imformation, it should tell you its charging and how much charge there is.

also, where did you buy it from?

Depending on where you bought it, it may just be fake/ a dud.
