Gaming PSP-2005, can it be hacked?

In my stay in Korea I decided to get a psp (nice range of colors and somewhat cheap)

However on the box it said PSP-2005 instead of the US versions PSP-2000

Because of that, I did not buy it today and decided to get it later

I did some google searches but 2005 being a very common number I couldnt even get any answers I wanted to

Should I buy the PSP or should I order from the states and wait another couple weeks?

The final number in PSP-200X is just to identify the region. US ones (and probably Canadian ones since they have French in the manuals) are PSP-2001 etc. I don't know if the new unhackable ones have gotten to Korea yet though.
