Are you serious about Oregon not having sales tax? That's crazy, it's 10% where I live

Here is little guide how you don't need to pay taxes!

First. Go to your PSN Account management.
Then go to tab what says "Account Information"
Pick "Address"
Enter your password.
Change your state to Oregon and get random Oregon Zip code from internet.. (google ftw)
And save!

Voila! Now you don't need to pay taxes anymore because in Oregon state there is no taxes! Now you can go and buy your game for 20$ and no need to pay freaking few more bucks and pennies..

If this is repost just let me know.

Hope you like it.

Wow, that is very dishonesty. I prefer be honest but thanks for tips however no thanks.

It's actually kinda dishonest on Sony's part. Why should you pay state tax for digital distribution?

Yeah, regarding the dishonesty comment... I read somewhere that Sony still charges you sales tax even if you pay with a PSN card (or whatever they're called). So you pay tax on the card *and* what you buy with it, nevermind the fact it's intangible

California doesn't have taxes too.

I use a californian address at my PS3

.

Oh wow, unless I find a Province with no PST I might start buying stuff on US PSN using my parents address in California.
This way I still stay honest and dodge the taxes =P

I think the taxes I paid on PSN combined would net me another downloadable game.. sigh..

Wait, what?
California has 7.25% sales tax according to this...

I don't know.. I still use my old New Jersey address and they charge me 7% sales tax.
