Such a shame, me and my mates were just going to play Black Ops for a bit and it failed then we were gonna play LBP2 and updated then we all get signed out =(.

When it was anonymous it seemed as though only the american servers were getting hit, this seems to be worldwide.

Plus the Anonymous said they wouldn't attack the PSN since their war isn't "against Sony's consumers". Which is pretty hypocritical since they already "attacked" their consumers by trying to DDoS their website (which consumers use) and tried to get Sony stores shut down.

But it's not the Anonymous, it's probably maintenance.

People are saying it's a splinter group, like Sonyrecon. They may not have the same ideas as Anonymous.

Remember that the last time PSN was attacked Sony said it was 'sporadic maintenance'. I'm not saying that it's definitely this splinter group, but it's a distinct possibility.
