Psn blocks jailbreak users

    How long do you guys think it will take before they have a work around this? and why do these companies waste their time trying to bloc people from going online it is free after all.

    what if they were a genuine user who brought their games and only wanted a way to backup all their games to a hard drive, are they pirates too? the only criminals here are sony themselves when they remove features from the console.

    They're just trying to protect their consoles from pirates, nothing wrong with that. By doing that, they're also protecting other game producing companies, in a way.

    Actually the only criminals here are pirates period. Its the whole alcohol scenario. Should alcohol be banned because a bunch of dumbasses decided to drink and drive (personally i think no).

    Why would you need to do that? Most games already install to the HDD to prevent hard use to the laser, and Blu-rays are almost indestructible as far as scratches are concerned.

    What's your excuse?
