Hardware PS3 Fat with issues?

I had the YLOD, but a reflow seems to have corrected that issue. My next issue is that the drive always thinks it has a disc in it. I have taken it apart and checked all the motors and they all work, so do all the sensors. I can manually add a disc, and it spins and reads, I can hold down the eject button and it will kick the disc out, but it then sets the blue light on and will not load another disc? Anyone had this issue and how did you fix it?
