PS1/2 PS2 nstc and pal problems

So I want to download a ps2 game and burn it on a dvd,but the thing is I don't know if it is pal or nstc.
So my question is,is it possible to play a burned pal ps2 game on a nstc modded ps2?(If the game I want is pal anyways).

I am asking this because I don't want to waste time downloading a 3gb file and in the end not working.

Yes but it may look funky. Depending on mod chip you have. Or your TV may not support the frequency.

I think it depends on your tv?
My modded PS2 is pal and just about every single game I play on there is NTSC.
