PS1/2 Ps2 mod chip error

hello before i start i have to say i have a bit of skill in soldering, so about a week ago i installed a mod chip in my ps2 ( SCPH-39003 V7-V8 board) the 'matrix modbo5.0' but when installing it boots to the screen 'Loading boot_menu V1.0' but it gets stuck at that point and i thought that maybe there was a bridge somewhere so i redid all solder connections and the same problem it wouldn't boot but this time i saw something else beside the boot error appear the fan wouldn't spin up and the controller isn't getting any power when before both worked i think the problem is that a small component at the sx line fell off it was a small capacitor but i don't know where to buy it or what to do to make the fan and controller port get power and work, keep in mind both fan and controller port worked before the second time re-soldering it
any help is greatly appreciated

this happens with all modbo 5 after fresh install
u gotta press triangle and circle on boot up and change boot type from mass to auto
thatll get u booted up
ull also need to replace that cap ill try find out the value off it

thx for that but what should i do about the controller and fan problem neither of them work(get power) since the cap has no writing on it and it flew on the floor and since i have a carpet in my room its hard to find it so i cant exactly get a reading off it

oh also you said hold circle and triangle right but the controller port can't gen any power to turn on

try find a picture of the same mobo revision to check the part of it
id also check all the PS fuses on the motherboard check nuthing been blown
also check again everything for shorts or bad joints

Hi i checked again for bad joints or shorts as you said with a magnifying glass and there where no shorts also a picture of my modbo revision is preety low quality to find the part (a small cap on the sx line) i need and i will check the fuses thx for the help

after a bit of searching i found 'ps5' to be blown now i just need the controller to work (since PS5 controlls the fan)

Also where could i buy ps5 fuse (in a pack or not doesn't matter) with uk prices i searched amazon and ebay but nothing
