PS1/2 PS2 help please

I have brought PS2 and Toxic OS come up when I start up PS2.
Does it mean it have modchip?
It have HDD with games on it, how do I play games on HDD?

Hold R1, L1, R2, L2, at the same time and power up your ps2. You’ll see what firmware you are on. DMS was a great chip, at the time. I still have a DMS 3+ in my ps2. Still works great.


I like HDLoader to load my games from the HDD. You can also check out OPL. Booting from HDD or network would be best. Usb is too slow.

look on the back of the console near the power port and see if there is a warranty sticker there. if it is cut or says VOID anywhere on it it probably had been chipped.

and the best way to load games from an HDD is with FreeMCboot you can get a FMCB memory card from amazon for like $1.80
