PS1/2 PS2 FAT modded PS1 problems

I have the V7 console and can't boot any burned Resident Evil series game from PS1. Problem is the same on Modbo 4/5 and Mars Pro chips. Tried everything, but no luck. Where the problem can be?

Other games work fine. Problem with the RE games.

What versions are you trying? (region)
What is the speed you're burning the discs?

Tried both PAL and NTSC. Speed is 4x, verbatim/maxell disks.

The pal version (at least of RE3) has copy protection, also RE survivor also does.
Also check if you're getting real 4x, the RE games have always been tricky to burn

The images I used were with protection removed, the burned disks work on modded PS2 Slim/PS1 perfectly.

Then I guess your console/chip is the issue

Does everything work fine with other games? If so, try a ROM from another site.

Yep, other games work fine, tried at least 3 roms of RE 1-2

Hmm... have you tried burning a Game Shark CD and seeing if it will boot with that and adding no cheats at all? And if that doesn't work, another CD-R might be needed (different brand / lot code.)
