PS1/2 PS2 External HardDrive Compatibility

It mostly depends on the controller that's between usb and the hdd, and i don't think there's a way to know if it will work or not. If you find somebody with the exact same adapter, you get an answer before trying.

Open PS2 Loader should have a higher compatiblity regarding HDDs compared to USB Advance(or what it's called), but some of the HDD compatiblity updates are not included in the public release yet.
 
Ok i tested it and the ps2 did not read the game convetrted and injected by usbutil 2.1 it says no usb games whether its in or not.Any Help?

(i also have it formatted in FAT32 Its 120GB)
 
Does openps2 loader work formatted in NTFS? Cause i have USBAdvance now working reading my drive in NTFS But can i use openps2 loader

a)with internal hard drive with 3.5 inch external case
b)with a disk formatted in NTFS?
 
YER ,I Read my format wrong its in fat32 and works with usbadvance(the internal hardrive with usb casing) does any1 no whether it will work in openps2loader?
 
well, the performance of games in openps2loader, can be enhance using the network capabilities of the homebrew...

its actually loading faster than USB... but you need to turn on your computer while playing PS2 game on it..
