Hi there Folks! It's been a good while since I posted on GBATEMP. Nice to be back!

I was wondering, does anyone know if it's possible to turn on/play Vita (Slim) straight via charger, I mean, without a battery attached? I'm asking this, 'cause the PSP (at least the 3001 one) was able to do that.

If you don't know what I mean, here's an example: Laptops, we can remove the battery and still be able to use it as long as it's plugged in via a charger.

Thanks in advance for any clarification! I just bought a second-hand Vita Slim and we all know the battery is the first to look for when it comes to second-hand electronics like that.

Haven't tried, but I doubt it will - after all if the battery is "empty" it needs about 20 minutes of emergency charging before it even tries to boot (and if you try to do so immediately, it just turns off again for a couple more)

Just buy a China Special replacement :P

Lol, thanks... I asked this, because I know the PSP was able to do that. Sad to know it's not the case with the Vita.
