Hardware Ps vita or PSP?

Hello @gbatemp i been thinking about buying a psp but at the same time PS vita is a thing. Is PS vita good if you only want to play PSP games? I also don't know which models to buy. Could someone in here that is experienced on this field help me decide? Thanks in advance.

You can get a vita and install CFW to setup Adrenaline allowing you to emulate psp. You can decide if you want the OLED 1000 model or the LED 2000 model.

Emulate? Does that mean it’s going to have issues like graphical bugs and stuff? Sorry if i sound too noob

If you just want to play PSP games either will work. The Vita has a nicer screen, more control options (you can remap the right joystick), and obviously can play Vita games. Most people would say it’s better, but they also tend to be more expensive.

Okay thanks. Imma buy a vita then. Just need to decide on the model, oled can burn in right? Think I’m going with the slim version.

If you can, get a vita. The psp isn't half bad though.
