tried search but couldn't find any answer to installing multiple updates to single game. xci in my case and running latest sxos 6.2 emunand

as the title suggest i've seen many different updates on some games floating around. would like to know if they all need to be installed in order or the latest one is sufficient?

for example Splatoon 2 has four different updates since its release. each one is 2gb in size give or take.

Thank you

You just have to install the latest update. Earlier update files are going to be replaced after installing the latest update!

Was concerned since i noticed all of the updates have different sizes but not consistent. for example on some games update 1.02 is 700mg while update 1.05 is only 300mb. if they were consistently larger then it would seem obvious the updates are bundled into latest.

Thanks to everyone who responded!

So how does the latest file (smaller in size), replace the older one (bigger in size)? Am I missing something here?

Always install the latest.
His question is valid though. I have seen newer updates that are of smaller size than older updates, and have always wondered that myself. Maybe they "optimize" the file size or something like that, not sure.
