Hacking Problem with some games and usb loader 1.1

Hi

I have a internal 160 gb hdd with a enclosure and usb loader 1.1

I`ve saw that some games freezes.

At the moment: Madworld, call of duty and SSBB. With these games I can play them but after shortly afterwards it freezes, the tv puts with black display and I can't play?

Any help?

i think you have the issue where the drive 'unmounts' itsself.

best bet is to get a new drive... or wait, until *hopefully* waninkoko finds a way to fix it

Or wait for an update to USB Loader that fixes said issue.

I think that the problem is with the enclosure. You might see if you can get a different one which would be much cheaper than a new drive. I'm not sure which ones work. Check the forums to see others that have it working and what enclosure they have.

do you have ANYTHING plugged in the USB port? unplug them. and in the case of USB LAN adapter, clear the "wired connection" setting as well.

Thanks, I don't have nothing plugged in the usb port, only the enclosure (ata/ide) with the hard drive, I try with other game and it freezes in the intro

Maybe could be because I have an enclosure with ide and sata

Something strange!
I open my enclosure and I put a hard disk FUJITSU mp3136at (13,68GB). I try with Madworld and Call of Duty and I didn't have any problem

I try another time with my Maxtor 160GB with the same games and I have the same problems , therefore I think that maybe we think that the problem is the enclosure when it seems that the problem is the hard disk

Thanks... I try to speak with maxtor Tecnical support but they doesn't help me

Me: how could I turn off the sleep mode of the hard disk

Me: and how could I change it?
Brian: That is your system I cant help with that
Me: but the function is about the hard disk not about the computer
Brian The function is actually contolled by the PATA controller on the computer, not the hard drive, its a standard PATA protocol
Me: but you don't know hot could I change it with windows xp
Brian: I cannot help with your system settings, that is up to you, you can search google on how to turn off the hard drive sleep mode, it might be under power managment in control panel but I cant tell you too much on how to fix your system
