Hacking Problem with R4 and Nintendo DS Lite

Good Afternoon, everybody!!!! I have a little problem and I hope that somebody can help me. I had a old Nintendo DS with R4 card (firmware 1.18) and that worked just fine! But today I bought a Nintendo DS Lite with Guitar Hero bundle and my R4 doesn´t work in this console anymore. When I try to use the r4 in any other console, I have no problem, but with my new console, that doesn´t work. The DS shows me the icon as no card is inserted. Can anybody help me?

I also tried others R4, but no one worked...

dunno probably the new ds lite comes with new firmwares that block flashcards

but try this
back up ur saves and reformat the card then download the firmware (1.18) and put it in the microsd (it might work)

I thought this too... I think that my new DS has a new firmware... Oh dear...

Anyway, I will try your advice! I will download the firmware, format my microSD and try again. If I has a sucess in this task, I will report here!

I use my R4 on my brother's DS Lite sometimes, I have the same problem. You need to repeatedly blow in the cart and the Slot. It eventually works, but after you shut it off, you need to start OVER.

It's really screwed up.

There's no new firmware, though. Nintendo gave up on the NDS/L and is now on the NDSi >.>
